Aims for 2025/26
We have set aspirational aims for the coming academic year. The aims have been set with a view to ensuring the school continues to make strong progress.
These aims will be monitored throughout the year at different stages so that the school can measure impact and refocus on areas which have not progressed in the way we would have liked. This monitoring will be on going with 3 milestones set for each area for the school to have a full evaluation at the end of terms 1,3 and 5.
The aims for the academic year 2025/26 are as follows:
- Ensure leaders high quality support continues to improve the overall quality of teaching, with a particular focus on Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
- Further develop the school's curriculum ensuring children make rapid gains across all subjects, with a particular focus on Key Stage 1 (KS1)
- Ensure the teaching of reading and phonics is highly effective in all year groups resulting in rapid gains being made across the school
- Introduce a 2-year curriculum cycle across Early Years taking into account nursery expansion
